TOURNY FUN AND GAMES!!!
Well its going to be a busy but exciting week leading into the next Fantasy tourny in sunny Queensland. The BIG Tourny has grown and gone from strength to strength in recent years and will see 46 players compete including Lachlan Macwhirter (Locky) , Andrew Galea (Guns) and Evan Ferris (Doombull) all making the trip up frm NSW.
Locky is one of the best players in OZ and Guns is the reigning champion of this tourny; both are top 10 ranked players in OZ. If you are interested in the OZ tourny scene and our rankings run by Andrew Galea the link is in my favourite links section.
I'm currently selling a High Elf army for good mate so as a bit of a change I've decided to play High Elves for the first time with a whole 3 practice games under my belt... to say I'm struggling would be an understatement.
I've lost 2 out of my 3 warm up games including a big loss to GT who has beaten me about once in a 1000 games and to Cokey who hasn't beaten me in 5 years!!! I'm in big trouble me thinks but it will be a lot of fun and I'll see If I can improve on my third place from last year.
If I do poorly my simple list of lesser goals are:
Smash GT if I play him
Annoy Dodgy by unleashing the aura of Slardy when he has to make an important die roll.
Not lose to any NSW player
